Copyright Takedown Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our Position
Spinmarket respects the intellectual property rights of all rights holders. We do not permit content that infringes copyright to be listed on our platform. If you believe a release sold on Spinmarket infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request and we will investigate promptly.
2. What to Include in a Takedown Request
A valid takedown request must include all of the following:
- 01Your full legal name, company name (if applicable), and contact details (email and phone).
- 02A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (e.g. original track title, record label, release date, ISRC or catalogue number where known).
- 03The URL or title of the Spinmarket release you believe infringes your rights.
- 04A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- 05A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf.
- 06Your physical or electronic signature.
3. How to Submit
Send your complete takedown request through either channel below. WhatsApp is fastest for urgent removals; email creates a written record we recommend for formal disputes.
WhatsApp (fastest)
+91 93536 616274. Our Process
- 01We acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days.
- 02We review the claim and contact the listing artist for their response.
- 03If the claim is valid, we remove or restrict the release within 5 business days of confirmation.
- 04We notify both parties of our decision.
- 05If you dispute our decision, you may escalate via the same contact channels with additional documentation.
5. Counter-Notification
If you are an artist whose content was removed and you believe the takedown was in error, you may submit a counter-notification through the same channels. Your counter-notification should state why you believe you have the right to use the content (e.g. original work, written clearance, fair use) and include your contact details and signature. We will restore the content if the counter-notification is valid and the original complainant does not pursue legal action within 10 business days.
6. Repeat Infringers
Artists who repeatedly receive valid takedown notices will have their account suspended and all releases removed from the platform. Spinmarket does not knowingly facilitate ongoing infringement.
7. False Claims
Submitting a knowingly false takedown request may expose you to liability. We reserve the right to disregard takedown requests that are clearly frivolous or made in bad faith.
